M1 Junction 34 comprises of two large traffic light controlled roundabouts separated by a dual carriageway, which runs beneath the Motorway on Tinsley Viaduct.

Access from M1 North From the M1 sliproad roundabout take the fourth exit (A6109) and continue straight on towards Sheffield city centre, passing the Meadowhall Shopping Centre on your left hand side. Continue through numerous sets of traffic lights until reaching a large traffic signal controlled junction at the approach to Newhall, where the Sheffield ring road meets Brightside lane. Proceed straight on a this junction and Fell Street is the next turning on the left hand side. (Approximately 10 min.) Access from M1 South From the M1 sliproad roundabout take the second exit (A6178) towards Sheffield. Continue straight on, passing the Meadowhall Shopping Centre on your right hand side, Tinsley wire and Meadowhall Retail Park on the left. You will shortly approach a system of roundabouts and traffic lights where the A6178 meets the Sheffield Ring Road. At the second roundabout turn right (signposted Brightside/ Hillsborough) immediately taking the right hand lane on Janson Street into Hawke Street. At the traffic light controlled junction with the A6109 turn left onto the dual carriageway towards Sheffield. Fell Street is the next turning on the left-hand side. (Approximately 12 min.) |
